Responsibilities
- Develop and integrate software for custom aerospace and defense test systems.
- Debug FPGA interfaces and integrate low-level software within embedded, RF, and automated test systems.
- Develop tools supporting system-level verification and customer programs.
- Perform hardware-software integration, test automation, and system verification.
- Collaborate with software, electronics, RF, measurement, and systems architecture specialists.
- Work through incomplete or ambiguous specifications and take ownership of technical solutions.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in a relevant field.
- High proficiency in at least one and familiarity with at least two of C, C++, C#, and Python.
- Awareness or experience with embedded or real-time software.
- Experience with hardware-software integration, NI TestStand test automation, and system verification.
- Experience with test instrumentation and associated measurements.
- Working knowledge of RF signals and systems.
- Experience using Windows development environments and Git version control.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, or an equivalent qualification.
- UK security clearance at SC level is required.
- Applicants must have lived in the UK for at least five years; non-British citizens must have ILR or Settled Status.
