Responsibilities
- Develop embedded, real-time, and low-level software for custom aerospace and defense test systems.
- Debug FPGA interfaces and integrate hardware with software across embedded, RF, and automated test systems.
- Develop test automation using NI TestStand and support system-level verification.
- Work with test instrumentation, measurements, RF signals, and systems.
- Collaborate with software, electronics, RF, measurement, and system architecture specialists.
- Support customer programs delivering high-performance custom test systems.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of relevant professional experience.
- High proficiency in at least one of C, C++, C#, and Python, plus familiarity with at least two of these languages.
- Awareness or experience with embedded or real-time software.
- Experience with hardware-software integration, NI TestStand test automation, and system verification.
- Experience with test instrumentation and associated measurements.
- Working knowledge of RF signals and systems.
- Experience using Windows development environments and Git version control.
- Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, or equivalent.
- UK SC security clearance eligibility, at least five years of UK residency, and British citizenship, Indefinite Leave to Remain, or Settled Status.
