Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain high-performance connectors using Golang.
- Provide technical leadership for microservices architecture and RESTful and gRPC API design.
- Contribute across the software development lifecycle from design through deployment and maintenance.
- Write clean, efficient, maintainable, and well-tested code.
- Tune and optimize performance to eliminate bottlenecks in high-scale production environments.
- Participate in architecture discussions and propose improvements to existing systems.
- Troubleshoot production issues and improve system stability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality features.
- Monitor emerging technologies and recommend improvements to engineering practices.
Requirements
- BS or MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of professional software engineering experience focused on backend systems.
- At least 3 years of hands-on experience developing production applications with Golang.
- Strong experience building and scaling distributed, highly available systems.
- Strong understanding of Go concurrency patterns, including goroutines, channels, and context management.
- Solid knowledge of object-oriented and idiomatic Go design principles.
- Experience designing and building REST APIs and microservices.
- Understanding of networking fundamentals, HTTP, gRPC, and messaging systems.
- Experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL and caching technologies including Redis or Memcached.
- Experience working with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure.
- Strong debugging, analytical, problem-solving, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Strong understanding of software design principles, data structures, algorithms, and system design.
- Experience writing unit, integration, and performance tests.
- Open Source contributions are a plus.
