Base Salary
$230k - $255k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and build web applications and AI systems using LLMs, computer vision, and multimodal technologies for loss prevention, verification, and catalog management.
- Architect data pipelines and reverse ETL systems combining computer vision, catalog, POS, location, and inventory data.
- Standardize API contracts for retailer pricing, coupon, and loyalty systems.
- Lead the architecture of backend systems and distributed infrastructure serving high volumes of data and millions of customers.
- Build internal frameworks and portals for integration testing, unified logging, and query-based debugging.
- Lead cross-functional initiatives to unify development practices and improve customer shopping experiences.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or foreign equivalent.
- At least 5 years of experience in the offered job or a related role.
- At least 5 years of experience with Java, Ruby, Kotlin, or similar backend programming languages.
- At least 5 years of experience with TypeScript, React, Next.js, or frontend programming languages.
- At least 5 years of experience with advanced AI systems including LLMs, computer vision, and multimodal technologies.
- At least 5 years of experience designing resilient backend systems and distributed infrastructure using caching, retry logic, asynchronous workflows, and platforms such as Temporal.
- At least 5 years of experience with backend APIs, real-time data pipelines and ETL systems, and monitoring or observability tools.
