Responsibilities
- Analyze product requirements and determine required data structures and behaviors.
- Work with design and system teams to devise algorithms for applications.
- Design firmware structures and implement firmware modules using C, C++, assembly-level software, and standard design techniques.
- Write firmware documentation.
- Define test cases and develop test automation to validate module designs.
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure interoperability between firmware components and hardware.
- Troubleshoot, test, and debug firmware.
- Learn through direct involvement while working with senior designers who provide mentoring and guidance.
Requirements
- Good understanding of real-time operating systems.
- Knowledge of embedded programming in C or C++.
- Knowledge of Python.
- Ability to learn quickly and work independently or in a team environment.
- Ability to understand hardware block diagrams and schematics.
- Ability to troubleshoot, test, and debug.
- Must be a student eligible for the 12–16-month internship term.
