Responsibilities
- Own AI strategy and research direction by setting the technical roadmap.
- Build and run frameworks to evaluate the quality of investigation agents.
- Prototype new techniques and integrate them into the product quickly.
- Manage fine-tuning and model experiments using real data.
- Guide prioritization of new techniques and ideas within the AI team.
- Lead a small team by setting technical direction and raising the bar.
- Collaborate with the CTO to turn the AI roadmap into shipped capabilities.
- Engage with customers to translate their needs into ML improvements.
- Maintain a fast-paced development cycle, shipping prototypes rapidly.
Requirements
- Proven hands-on technical leadership in AI development.
- Experience shipping LLM or agentic systems to production.
- Deep understanding of transformer architecture and fine-tuning.
- Experience building evaluation frameworks for non-deterministic systems.
- Strong background in AI organizations or startups with a builder's edge.
- Ability to operate in early-stage environments and own outcomes.
- Excellent communication skills in a remote-first team.
- Preferred background in security or vulnerability management.
