Base Salary

$159k - $202k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Perform application design and security reviews, assess risk, and prioritize remediation with service teams.
  • Create, update, and maintain threat models for software projects.
  • Conduct manual and automated secure code reviews, primarily in Java, Python, and JavaScript.
  • Develop security automation tools and improve security tooling and frameworks for development teams.
  • Provide security architecture, secure development, compliance, and implementation guidance.
  • Perform adversarial security analysis and support remediation of security findings, vulnerabilities, and compliance gaps.
  • Deliver security training and outreach to internal development teams.
  • Escalate security issues and provide technical and strategic recommendations to senior leaders and stakeholders.
  • Influence partner processes, priorities, and choices using data to improve security outcomes.
  • Contribute to recruiting, mentoring, and administrative activities.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of combined experience in threat modeling, secure coding, identity management and authentication, software development, cryptography, system administration, or network security.
  • 4+ years of experience with scripting, programming, or security code review in a common language such as Python, Java, or C++.
  • Experience implementing security solutions at the cross-team level.
  • Knowledge of or integration experience with common cloud-hosted services.
  • Preferred experience with AWS products and services.
  • Preferred programming experience in Python, Ruby, Go, Swift, Java, .NET, C++, or a similar object-oriented language.
  • Preferred knowledge of command-line tools for troubleshooting protocols, analyzing logs, or automating basic tasks.
  • Ability to solve complex security problems, prioritize risks, and communicate effectively with technical and non-technical audiences.
