$143k - $286k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead platform engineering efforts delivering scalable infrastructure, reusable tooling, and AI/ML frameworks.
- Drive software design, coding, testing, deployment, and maintenance across multiple teams.
- Architect cloud-native distributed systems with high availability, fault tolerance, and real-time data processing.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship while promoting engineering best practices and architectural consistency.
- Translate stakeholder needs into technical requirements and measurable success metrics.
- Design agentic AI solutions and promote AI-assisted software development practices.
- Drive continuous improvement, innovation, knowledge sharing, and adoption of advanced development tools.
Requirements
- Extensive experience in platform engineering leadership and scalable, cloud-native architecture.
- At least five years of software engineering experience with a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, or seven years of software engineering experience.
- Proven ability to lead the full software development lifecycle, including coding, testing, CI/CD deployment, and maintenance.
- Expertise designing distributed systems for real-time data processing and AI/ML integration.
- Proficiency with model-driven design and AI agents.
- Strong technical judgment, architectural planning, collaboration, communication, and mentoring abilities.
- Preferred: a relevant master’s degree with three years of software engineering experience.
- Preferred: experience implementing WCAG 2.2 AA standards, using assistive technologies, and applying digital accessibility best practices.
