Responsibilities
- Develop end-to-end system features spanning user interfaces and backend code using Java Full Stack Development.
- Design, build, debug, test, and optimize Java/Spring Boot services and front-end components.
- Apply approved AI coding assistants for code generation, refactoring, debugging, and unit/integration testing, while validating generated code for correctness, security, concurrency, dependency risk, and performance.
- Integrate LLM APIs, structured outputs, retrieval-augmented generation, and AI-enabled services with front-end components.
- Act as a subject matter expert, make team decisions, and provide solutions across multiple teams.
- Lead best-practice initiatives to improve development productivity and product quality.
- Mentor junior team members and coordinate cross-functional communication on project goals and deliverables.
- Support scalable applications through cloud platforms and deployment strategies.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in Java Full Stack Development.
- 15 years of full-time education.
- Proficiency in Java Full Stack Development.
- Strong experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript frameworks.
- Solid understanding of backend development, APIs, and database management.
- Hands-on experience with approved coding assistants, context-rich prompting, generated-code review, and automated test validation.
- Ability to evaluate AI response quality, latency, cost, prompt-injection resistance, and sensitive-data handling.
- Experience with LLM API integration, structured outputs, retrieval-augmented generation, and retrieval/vector-store integrations such as Spring AI or LangChain4j.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms, deployment strategies, agile development environments, and version control systems.
- Experience debugging, testing, and optimizing code for performance and security.
- Knowledge of capital markets and investment management, including securities, trading, portfolio management, investment operations, and related financial services processes.
