Responsibilities
- Apply software development and project management methodologies to complete development tasks.
- Design, develop, and deploy system enhancements.
- Perform unit and system integration testing, debugging, peer code reviews, and defect resolution.
- Document system deployment and implementation plans.
- Participate in proofs of concept for new technologies and document findings.
- Perform usability analysis, root-cause analysis, and application defect resolution.
- Follow secure coding practices and develop expertise in TD services, applications, infrastructure, analytical tools, and technologies.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate technology-related program such as Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology Management, or Computing.
- Familiarity with at least one of Java, Scala, Python, PySpark, or SQL.
- Practical knowledge of data generation, data masking, data subsetting, data archiving, data virtualization, data modelling, database development, project management, or management reporting.
- Knowledge of test data tools such as CA TDM or Delphix.
- Familiarity with Git, Jira, and Confluence.
- Asset: familiarity with RDBMS, big data, data warehousing, ETL, ELT, Pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn, Matplotlib, Ruby, Linux, or cloud technologies such as Azure, AWS, or GCP.
- Applications must include a resume of no more than two pages and a school transcript.
- Interest or aptitude in financial systems and the financial industry is an asset.
