Base Salary
$116k - $150k/yr
Responsibilities
- Work with engineers to start projects from scratch and develop within the existing codebase.
- Build backend wiring, application logic, and user interfaces for Rosetta Stone products.
- Provide accurate estimates, evaluate feasibility, and assess platforms and technologies for implementations.
- Collaborate across development teams to design and release products.
Requirements
- At least three years of software engineering experience.
- Bachelor's or advanced degree in computer science or a related discipline.
- Excellent programming skills in Ruby, Go, or Java.
- Modern best-practice knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
- Strong communication, analytical reasoning, and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of AWS, MySQL, MongoDB, GraphQL, Node, and React is a plus.
- Passion for improving language learning through technology.
