Base Salary
$154k - $230k/yr
Responsibilities
- Define technology strategy for the Digital team in alignment with Citi Technology.
- Design and guide reliable, scalable, high-performance services and architectures.
- Lead and advise teams responsible for architecture, implementation, and continuous product improvement.
- Drive cross-team technical solutions, architecture reviews, design standards, and technology decisions.
- Manage technical and business risks across large, cross-functional, and concurrent projects.
- Coach lower-level architects and collaborate with engineering, product, business, vendor, and customer stakeholders.
- Operationalize end-to-end generative AI solutions, including LLM-based applications, RAG pipelines, evaluation frameworks, and responsible AI controls.
- Promote AI-assisted software development through code generation, automated review, intelligent test generation, and vulnerability detection.
- Ensure solutions address security, scalability, maintainability, regulatory compliance, and operational excellence.
Requirements
- 10+ years of relevant experience in an enterprise architecture role with subject matter expertise in one or more areas.
- Bachelor’s or university degree required; master’s degree preferred.
- Expertise across technology patterns and techniques for cloud platforms, internet frameworks, and mobile frameworks.
- Leadership experience working with internal stakeholders and external vendors to deliver secure, performant, and scalable solutions.
- Subject matter expertise in application development architecture.
- Experience designing, developing, and deploying production-grade generative AI and large language model applications.
- Experience with LangChain, ADK, RAG pipelines, and prompt engineering techniques.
- Experience establishing AI and ML platform engineering standards, model evaluation frameworks, responsible AI guardrails, data privacy controls, and security practices.
- Experience with AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, Devin, or equivalent.
- Strong understanding of business impact, technical trade-offs, enterprise architecture, and regulatory expectations.
