Responsibilities
- Develop new components, small features, tools, enhancements, and break/fix implementations.
- Adapt, integrate, code, test, debug, maintain, and support programs and application components.
- Analyze technical requirements and recommend practical engineering solutions.
- Collaborate with technology partners and stakeholders to meet technical, performance, delivery, and innovation goals.
- Document and verify system components, applications, infrastructure, security, integration, operability, and architecture designs.
- Participate in design, prototype, requirements, and quality management reviews.
- Provide technical expertise during incident management, including impact assessment and outage resolution communication.
- Identify and recommend development and testing solutions and tools.
- Apply secure coding practices and maintain quality, defect-free code consistent with standards.
- Define and validate user stories, acceptance criteria, and definitions of done or ready.
- Support project documentation, estimates, scope, cost, milestones, risk management, and regulatory compliance.
- Participate in knowledge transfer, cross-training, coaching, and collaborative issue resolution.
Requirements
- Undergraduate degree, postgraduate degree, or technical certificate.
- Strong academic background, such as computer science or engineering.
- Basic working knowledge of relevant domain or engineering frameworks, technology, tools, processes, and procedures.
- Foundational knowledge of applications, systems, networks, innovation, design activities, best practices, and bank standards.
- Ability to perform low- to moderately complex technical tasks under general supervision.
- Ability to execute program specifications, solve routine problems using existing procedures, and make limited exceptions.
Benefits
- Base salary of CAD $59,500-$84,000 per year.
