Responsibilities

  • Develop new components, small features, tools, enhancements, and break/fix implementations.
  • Adapt, integrate, code, test, debug, maintain, and support programs and application components.
  • Analyze technical requirements and recommend practical engineering solutions.
  • Collaborate with technology partners and stakeholders to meet technical, performance, delivery, and innovation goals.
  • Document and verify system components, applications, infrastructure, security, integration, operability, and architecture designs.
  • Participate in design, prototype, requirements, and quality management reviews.
  • Provide technical expertise during incident management, including impact assessment and outage resolution communication.
  • Identify and recommend development and testing solutions and tools.
  • Apply secure coding practices and maintain quality, defect-free code consistent with standards.
  • Define and validate user stories, acceptance criteria, and definitions of done or ready.
  • Support project documentation, estimates, scope, cost, milestones, risk management, and regulatory compliance.
  • Participate in knowledge transfer, cross-training, coaching, and collaborative issue resolution.

Requirements

  • Undergraduate degree, postgraduate degree, or technical certificate.
  • Strong academic background, such as computer science or engineering.
  • Basic working knowledge of relevant domain or engineering frameworks, technology, tools, processes, and procedures.
  • Foundational knowledge of applications, systems, networks, innovation, design activities, best practices, and bank standards.
  • Ability to perform low- to moderately complex technical tasks under general supervision.
  • Ability to execute program specifications, solve routine problems using existing procedures, and make limited exceptions.

Benefits

  • Base salary of CAD $59,500-$84,000 per year.
