Responsibilities
- Build cloud-based, event-driven software systems with high availability, scalability, and resilience.
- Develop infrastructure supporting data pipelines, storage, and APIs for internal and external stakeholders.
- Collaborate with data scientists to build machine learning pipelines.
- Contribute across the software lifecycle, including architecture, coding, functional and performance testing, documentation, and design verification.
- Automate manual processes and optimize data delivery and software infrastructure for scalability, maintainability, and cost efficiency.
- Participate in code reviews and promote software quality, testing, and development/deployment best practices.
- Participate in the production systems on-call rotation when required.
- Protect the confidentiality and security of client data.
Requirements
- Strong programming skills in Kotlin, Java, and Golang.
- Experience with message brokers, queues, or buses such as Kafka, Azure Service Bus, or ZeroMQ.
- Experience with relational databases such as MySQL and NoSQL databases such as Cassandra.
- Familiarity with modern software testing tools and equipment.
- Strong frontend development exposure.
- Ability to learn new tools and technologies and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline with 2–5 years of related experience, or a master’s degree with 0–2 years of equivalent experience.
