Base Salary
$117k - $218k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead platform engineering for AWS GovCloud and OpenStack environments.
- Direct infrastructure work supporting the Region 2 data center migration.
- Build and sustain infrastructure automation and deployment workflows.
- Establish and maintain delivery pipelines using Bitbucket, Jenkins, GitLab, and related tools.
- Develop and maintain infrastructure and configuration automation using Terraform, Ansible, shell scripting, and Python.
- Integrate security and compliance considerations into platform operations and delivery.
- Coordinate platform-engineering execution and subcontractor delivery.
- Travel up to 15% as needed for program and customer requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree and 9 years of relevant experience, or graduate degree and 7 years of related experience, or 13 years of related experience in lieu of a degree.
- Current CompTIA Security+ certification.
- Active TS/SCI security clearance.
- Experience with AWS GovCloud and OpenStack infrastructure design, deployment, and sustainment.
- Experience administering and troubleshooting Linux-based production systems.
- Experience deploying, operating, and securing Kubernetes environments.
- Experience with Terraform, Ansible, shell scripting, Python, Bitbucket, Jenkins, and GitLab.
- Preferred certifications include AWS, OpenStack, Red Hat Certified System Administrator, or Red Hat Certified Engineer certifications.
- Experience with automated security and compliance checks, regulated migrations, Helm, Argo CD, Packer, and Lua automation or operational tooling.
