Base Salary

$87k - $198k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Oversee a team of cloud professionals and lead stakeholders in delivering technical solutions.
  • Architect, engineer, deploy, maintain, and enhance enterprise AWS or Azure cloud environments.
  • Design cloud-native and hybrid environments supporting mission and data workloads.
  • Manage cloud networking, security groups, IAM, routing, and policy across UNIX, Linux, and Windows systems.
  • Build and manage cloud environments across multiple impact levels, regions, and providers.
  • Modernize legacy computing platforms and applications and develop new cloud solutions.
  • Create and manage container applications and collaborate on classified system platforms.
  • Apply Infrastructure as Code, automation, and configuration management tools.
  • Support DoD or IC cloud environments, security requirements, certification frameworks, and classified compliance needs.

Requirements

  • Experience with enterprise cloud engineering, architecture, management, maintenance, and enhancement.
  • Experience with AWS or Microsoft Azure for enterprise-scale cloud architecture and platform transformation.
  • Experience designing, engineering, and deploying cloud-native and hybrid environments.
  • Experience with cloud networking, security groups, IAM, routing, and policy management across UNIX, Linux, and Windows.
  • Experience managing cloud environments across multiple impact levels, regions, and providers.
  • Experience supporting DoD or IC cloud environments, security requirements, and certification frameworks.
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code, automation, and configuration management tools.
  • TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required.
  • High school diploma or GED is required.
  • DoD 8570 certification such as Security+ is required.
  • Preferred: experience with Jenkins, Bamboo, Travis CI, GitLab, Kubernetes, containerization, and cloud platform services.
  • Preferred: experience building Cloud Data Plane and Mission Plane architectures and knowledge of DoD accreditation and cloud authorization processes.
  • Preferred: bachelor’s degree and AWS or Azure certifications.

  • The projected annualized compensation range is $86,800.00 to $198,000.00.
  • The role may require work at Booz Allen or customer facilities according to the applicable remote, hybrid, or onsite work model.
