Base Salary
$140k - $152k/yr
Responsibilities
- Install, configure, administer, patch, upgrade, and sustain MuleSoft Anypoint Platform and/or Informatica components.
- Design, develop, configure, test, and deploy REST APIs and Mule applications for secure, reusable data exchange.
- Configure API gateways, routing, rate limiting, throttling, retries, versioning, analytics, monitoring, and error handling.
- Implement authentication and authorization using PKI, SSO, certificates, identity-management services, and role-based access controls.
- Establish API lifecycle, documentation, governance, testing, deployment, reuse, deprecation, and backward-compatibility practices.
- Integrate NAVSUP, logistics, Salesforce, Power Platform, AWS GovCloud, and mission-partner systems.
- Develop incremental-update and change-data-capture patterns, synchronization monitoring, alerts, and custom connectors.
- Execute functional, integration, regression, load, security, performance, and operational-readiness testing and remediate findings.
- Maintain version-controlled configuration, CI/CD artifacts, OpenAPI specifications, API catalogs, runbooks, diagrams, training materials, and Azure DevOps work items.
- Provide incident triage, root-cause analysis, vendor escalation, performance tuning, knowledge transfer, and ongoing operational support.
Requirements
- Hands-on production experience designing, developing, deploying, administering, and troubleshooting MuleSoft Anypoint Platform and/or Informatica solutions.
- Working knowledge of API Manager, Runtime Manager, Design Center, Exchange, and API lifecycle or governance capabilities.
- Strong experience with REST APIs, API gateways, OpenAPI/Swagger, integration patterns, authentication, authorization, certificates, and error handling.
- Experience building and testing Mule applications or APIs and working with DataWeave or comparable transformation technology.
- Experience with Git-based version control, automated deployment, CI/CD pipelines, and repeatable configuration practices.
- Experience integrating cloud-hosted services and diagnosing connectivity, performance, security, and data-exchange issues.
- Ability to work with Government stakeholders, system owners, security teams, data engineers, and external mission partners.
- U.S. citizenship and ability to meet privileged-access, background-investigation, CAC, SAAR, training, certification, and NDA requirements.
- A current DoD 8140.03 IAT Level II baseline certification is required at the start of performance, such as CompTIA Security+ CE or an approved substitute.
- An applicable computing-environment certification in AWS, Windows, Oracle, UNIX, or Linux is required within six months.
- A bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, information systems, or a related technical field is preferred.
- Five to seven years of hands-on production experience with MuleSoft Anypoint Platform and/or Informatica is desired.
- MuleSoft and/or Informatica certification, AWS or AWS GovCloud deployment experience, change-data capture, Power Platform connectors, Salesforce integration, DoD data exchanges, RMF/ATO, STIGs, NIST 800-53, Zero Trust, PKI, or Department of the Navy experience are preferred.
- The position requires U.S. citizenship, CAC eligibility, and a final favorably adjudicated T5, T5R, SSBI, or equivalent investigation before privileged access is granted.
Benefits
- Projected annualized base compensation is $140,000.00 to $152,000.00 USD.
- The primary work site is Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania; remote or contractor-site work requires Government coordination and approval.
- The role includes knowledge transfer, workshops, and recorded walkthroughs for NAVSUP developers and operations staff.
