Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable software and machine learning infrastructure for integrating new GPUs into Google Compute Engine and scaling the Cloud GPU fleet.
- Write, test, and review complex product code and technical specifications through collaborative design and code reviews.
- Maintain accelerator solutions by triaging, debugging, and resolving complex production issues involving hardware, networks, and service operations.
- Engage with customers to troubleshoot issues and support reliability and operational excellence for AI workloads.
- Create and update technical documentation and educational content based on product and system changes and user feedback.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 5 years of software development experience in one or more programming languages.
- At least 3 years of experience testing, maintaining, or launching software products.
- At least 1 year of experience with software design and architecture.
- Preferred: master’s degree or PhD in Computer Science or a related technical field.
- Preferred: 5 years of experience with data structures and algorithms.
- Preferred: 1 year of technical leadership experience, including coaching and mentoring junior engineers.
- Preferred: experience with large-scale cloud infrastructure, cloud services, or GPUs.
- Preferred: fluency in English and Mandarin to support client management in the region.
