Responsibilities
- Design, build, and test high-performance distributed components for data aggregation, transformation, reporting, and large-scale computations.
- Architect and implement scalable, maintainable backend solutions using Kafka and Kubernetes.
- Build and maintain event-driven microservices and reliable distributed architectures.
- Own features and services end-to-end from design through deployment and production support.
- Apply observability practices including logging, monitoring, alerting, and production debugging.
- Collaborate with product designers, developers, and testers to deliver business and product functionality.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to a culture of clean code and continuous learning.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or an equivalent stream.
- 4–8 years of experience in enterprise application development.
- Practical understanding of data structures and algorithms, database management systems, operating systems, and computer networks.
- Proficiency with Java, Spring Boot, Kafka, PostgreSQL, or a similar backend stack.
- Experience with event-driven microservices architecture and Kubernetes-based deployments.
- Proven experience designing, building, and maintaining scalable, reliable backend systems and distributed architectures.
- Understanding of logging, monitoring, alerting, and debugging production systems.
- Strong programming, logical reasoning, communication, interpersonal, and collaborative skills.
- Enthusiasm for solving complex problems and willingness to learn.
