Responsibilities
- Deploy, monitor, troubleshoot, and scale microservices running in Docker containers and Kubernetes production environments.
- Manage AWS and Azure cloud infrastructure, including load balancing, auto-scaling, and Linux server administration.
- Streamline CI/CD processes and support successful deployments in collaboration with development teams.
- Configure centralized logging, monitoring, and alerting using tools such as Datadog and ELK Stack.
- Improve deployment efficiency, automation coverage, system uptime, security compliance, and coordination with development and QA teams.
- Identify and resolve infrastructure and deployment issues and travel abroad when required for project needs.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in DevOps engineering or a closely related role.
- Proven experience deploying microservice applications in Docker containers and troubleshooting Docker networking and containers.
- Hands-on experience with at least one programming language, such as Java or C#.
- Strong knowledge of load balancing, auto-scaling, Linux server administration, AWS, Azure, and production Kubernetes workloads.
- Experience configuring centralized logging, monitoring, and alerting with tools such as Datadog and ELK Stack.
- Preferred experience with API Gateway, NGINX, Nexus, Ansible, Terraform, Puppet, Kafka, Confluent, AKS, Azure Container Registry, and Active Directory.
- CI/CD experience with Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab, or Azure DevOps.
- Strong collaboration, communication, analytical, problem-solving, adaptability, and proactive issue-resolution skills.
