Responsibilities
- Own and continuously evolve GoMining’s end-to-end enterprise architecture across payments, cards, custody, wallets, mining, and core platform domains.
- Define target architecture, architectural principles, technical standards, and long-term technology roadmaps.
- Design scalable, resilient, fault-tolerant distributed systems for millions of users and high transaction volumes.
- Establish service ownership, architectural boundaries, integration patterns, and data flows across engineering teams.
- Lead decisions involving microservices, APIs, event-driven systems, data platforms, and cloud infrastructure.
- Identify architectural bottlenecks, technical debt, scalability limitations, and system dependencies.
- Lead architecture reviews and provide technical guidance during solution design and implementation reviews.
- Partner with the CTO, engineering leadership, product leaders, and business stakeholders to align architecture with business strategy.
- Evaluate technologies and infrastructure solutions while embedding security, reliability, observability, performance, and operational resilience into architecture.
Requirements
- 8+ years of software engineering experience, including 3+ years in enterprise, platform, or solution architecture roles.
- Mandatory experience architecting systems in FinTech, banking, payments, digital banking, or cryptocurrency companies.
- Experience designing architecture across multiple interconnected products, services, or business domains.
- Strong software engineering background, ideally as a Senior, Lead, or Principal Engineer.
- Deep understanding of distributed systems, microservices, event-driven architecture, API design, and integration patterns.
- Experience designing high-load, fault-tolerant, and mission-critical systems.
- Strong knowledge of cloud infrastructure such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- Understanding of financial transaction processing, data consistency, security, and regulatory requirements.
- Ability to define long-term architectural strategy while remaining technically hands-on.
- Experience driving architectural decisions across multiple engineering teams.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Preferred experience includes cryptocurrency exchanges, blockchain infrastructure, digital wallets, custody solutions, card issuing, payment processing, banking integrations, financial ledgers, PCI DSS, KYC, AML, financial compliance, and platforms serving millions of users.
