Responsibilities
- Architect and build a new technology capability from the ground up.
- Own key technical and architectural decisions and establish engineering standards and development practices.
- Design, build, prototype, and evaluate scalable, maintainable software solutions.
- Develop AI-enabled solutions using large language models and Retrieval-Augmented Generation.
- Integrate existing Infor technologies with external platforms and systems.
- Work autonomously to identify problems, determine direction, and advance technical initiatives.
- Collaborate with experienced technical colleagues as the capability develops.
Requirements
- Significant professional software engineering experience across complex products, platforms, or enterprise systems.
- Strong experience in software architecture, system design, and long-term technical decision-making.
- Strong hands-on software development experience.
- Practical knowledge of modern AI technologies, including large language models and Retrieval-Augmented Generation.
- Strong software engineering fundamentals and the ability to use AI-assisted development effectively.
- Ability to distinguish promising prototypes from scalable, maintainable, production-ready architectures.
- Ability to create direction, make sound technical decisions, and work independently in an evolving environment.
- Experience with Python and JavaScript/TypeScript is preferred but not strictly required; Java experience is additionally valuable.
- Curiosity, adaptability, experimentation, and willingness to learn and iterate.
