Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain complex SAP BTP applications and services.
- Develop cloud-native applications using SAP CAP Java, SAP HANA Cloud, and SAP BTP services.
- Design and implement enterprise integrations using SAP Integration Suite, including Cloud Integration, API Management, Open Connectors, and Event Mesh.
- Develop and enhance SAP Fiori and SAPUI5 applications.
- Create and consume REST APIs, OData services, and event-driven integrations for SAP and non-SAP systems.
- Lead design discussions, code reviews, troubleshooting, production support, and technical solution activities.
- Apply secure coding, governance, compliance, integration, monitoring, and performance optimization practices.
- Support CI/CD, automated testing, DevOps, release management, and cloud deployment activities using Git and enterprise tools.
- Mentor junior engineers and advance SAP BTP development standards, reusable frameworks, and integration best practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field with five years of relevant experience, or equivalent education and training.
- At least seven years of preferred experience in SAP application development and enterprise integration, including three or more years designing and implementing SAP Integration Suite solutions.
- Hands-on experience with SAP BTP, CAP Java, Java EE, RESTful APIs, OData, SAP HANA Cloud, SQL, SAP Fiori, SAPUI5, HTML5, JavaScript, JSON, and CSS.
- Experience with SAP Integration Suite, Cloud Integration, API Management, Event Mesh, Open Connectors, integration monitoring, iFlows, API-led connectivity, and hybrid integration scenarios.
- Experience deploying and supporting applications in Cloud Foundry environments and using Git, source control, branching strategies, CI/CD, automated testing, and cloud deployment pipelines.
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA integration and extension development, SAP Build products, SAP Clean Core principles, side-by-side extensions, and event-driven or API-first architectures.
- Experience with SAP Identity Authentication Service, Identity Provisioning Service, enterprise security frameworks, microservices, containerized applications, and cloud-native development.
- Experience supporting Finance, Accounting, Treasury, Procurement, ERP, banking, financial services, or large enterprise environments is preferred.
- SAP BTP, SAP Integration Suite, SAP Fiori, or SAP HANA certifications are preferred.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, problem-solving, communication, enterprise architecture, and integration design skills are required.
