Responsibilities
- Lead the development and maintenance of the Billing Platform.
- Drive complex extraction projects to modernize legacy systems.
- Collaborate with internal engineering and product teams to gather requirements.
- Participate in on-call rotations for billing services and respond to incidents.
- Mentor engineers on best practices and distributed systems concepts.
- Shape the technical direction of billing services and evaluate new technologies.
- Build monitoring and observability into billing services.
Requirements
- 5+ years of billing system development experience at SaaS companies.
- Deep Go programming expertise with experience in API-first backend technologies.
- Hands-on experience with service-oriented architecture and distributed services.
- Production API development experience with familiarity in HTTP protocols and RESTful design.
- Understanding of versioning, backward compatibility, and API evolution strategies.
- Experience with on-call responsibilities and production incident response.
- Strong collaboration skills and experience working with multiple engineering teams.
