Responsibilities
- Conduct deep technical discovery in strategic accounts to assess platform readiness and identify adoption opportunities.
- Lead architecture and delivery design for complex enterprise environments.
- Partner with customer stakeholders to prioritize use cases based on business impact and technical feasibility.
- Design and build prototypes, deployment patterns, and reusable accelerators across various workflows.
- Architect self-managed and enterprise deployments, including access controls and observability.
- Create reusable assets such as runbooks and technical guidance based on recurring field patterns.
- Contribute code or design changes to address upstream blockers as necessary.
- Travel up to 50% for customer engagements and workshops.
Requirements
- Experience in software engineering, platform architecture, or technical consulting.
- Strong software engineering fundamentals, ideally with Ruby on Rails and/or Go.
- Proficient in systems design and software architecture, including CI/CD systems and security boundaries.
- Hands-on experience with GitLab CI/CD, pipeline design, and GitLab APIs.
- Familiarity with infrastructure as code tools like Terraform or Ansible.
- Knowledge of large language models and AI systems in production environments.
- Proven ability to create reusable technical assets and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
