Base Salary
$179k - $224k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build AI-powered tools into engineers’ day-to-day workflows.
- Implement and evolve inference and tool-calling pathways using Claude models.
- Partner with teams across Engineering to define AI-augmented SDLC patterns.
- Prototype and harden Slack-based chatops experiences.
- Instrument and monitor AI usage, performance, and cost.
- Collaborate with security, compliance, and infrastructure teams.
- Create reusable examples, templates, and internal libraries.
- Contribute to training, documentation, and office hours for AI users.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience as a Software Engineer in infrastructure or dev tools.
- Strong experience building backend services and integrations.
- Hands-on experience with modern LLM platforms or orchestration layers.
- Proficiency in at least one modern programming language for backend and tooling.
- Experience integrating internal services or third-party APIs into workflows.
- Familiarity with AWS cloud infrastructure and secure handling of sensitive data.
- Ability to collaborate cross-functionally and communicate technical requirements.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
