Responsibilities
- Drive the technical vision and execution of complex, multi-quarter projects across multiple engineering teams.
- Lead the design and development of mission-critical trading systems, including order management and execution engines.
- Partner with PM, Design, and other functions to align product strategy with long-term technical bets.
- Deeply understand and influence the trading stack and product roadmap.
- Mentor and coach engineers across various levels.
- Elevate engineering quality and promote best practices through design and code reviews.
Requirements
- 5+ years of software engineering experience with a strong track record in large-scale distributed systems.
- Deep expertise in trading systems, with hands-on experience in areas like order management and execution algorithms.
- Strong product intuition and customer obsession in technical decision-making.
- Proven ability to lead complex initiatives across organizational boundaries.
- Strong mentoring skills and a passion for developing high-performing teams.
- Comfortable working in ambiguous environments with high stakes.
- High bar for quality, correctness, and operational excellence.
