Responsibilities
- Create, implement, and support analytics and testing for Markets Front Office Interest Rates.
- Use Python, C++, and quantitative methodologies to process datasets and produce management information for senior stakeholders.
- Rapidly prototype ideas while maintaining a high degree of data integrity and meeting quick turnaround requirements.
- Partner with quants, IT, project management teams, trading desks, structuring desks, and control functions.
- Support governance, control infrastructure, responsible finance, supervision, ethics, and appropriate risk/reward assessment.
- Communicate project progress and importance clearly to non-technical clients while managing major projects and daily requirements.
Requirements
- 10 years of relevant experience.
- Excellent technical and programming skills in Python and C++.
- Experience working within the Rates product and knowledge or interest in interest rates is desirable.
- Master’s or PhD in mathematics, physics, engineering, or a similar degree.
- Strong quantitative problem-solving ability and business acumen.
- Ability to communicate clearly with non-technical clients and deliver promptly while managing competing priorities.
