Responsibilities
- Provide technical leadership in developing and deploying generative AI and large language model solutions aligned with business objectives.
- Architect and oversee scalable data and machine learning pipelines and integrate AI models into secure production environments.
- Lead cross-functional teams of data scientists, engineers, and product managers, including project timelines, resource allocation, and delivery.
- Develop sophisticated algorithms and improve existing machine learning techniques.
- Deliver data science insights using complex algorithms, machine learning, and artificial intelligence methods.
- Make business recommendations based on data and collaborate with business areas to define projects, requirements, success criteria, and delivery plans.
- Lead medium-sized projects and train or mentor junior team members.
- Stay current with AI advancements and guide the strategic direction of AI initiatives.
Requirements
- 12+ years of experience in machine learning, data mining, predictive modeling, statistical modeling, and large-scale structured and unstructured data acquisition, transformation, and cleaning.
- Proficiency in data wrangling, visualization, and modeling with Python.
- Experience with supervised and unsupervised learning, machine learning and NLP algorithms, and deep learning methods.
- Experience with machine learning frameworks and tools such as scikit-learn, Keras, TensorFlow, MXNet, PyTorch, and MLlib.
- Experience with Hugging Face Transformers and other open-source NLP/NLG modules.
- Experience with generative LLM fine-tuning and prompt engineering.
- Strong Python programming skills and experience developing and deploying web applications.
- Proven leadership and collaboration on strategic initiatives for at least the last 2–3 years.
- Strong communication, presentation, problem-solving, analytical, collaboration, and client-facing skills.
- Ability to work independently, collaborate across offices or regions, manage time effectively, and operate in a fast-paced environment.
- Bachelor's, master's, postgraduate, or Ph.D. education in artificial intelligence, analytics, data science, computer science, engineering, information technology, social sciences, or a related field is preferred.
- Experience with Docker, Git, modern software development workflows, and strategic consulting is a plus.
