Base Salary
$191k - $253k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own the software solutions deployed to customers from inception to deployment.
- Build and evolve software across device control, telemetry, storage, APIs, and tasking workflows.
- Conduct low-level Linux-facing work such as board bring-up and hardware/software debugging.
- Develop backend services and software interfaces that connect edge systems and mission workflows.
- Incorporate AI/LLM-enabled features to enhance operator effectiveness.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to define interfaces and resolve integration issues.
- Contribute to technical leadership and maintainability across the software stack.
Requirements
- Strong software engineering experience in C, C++, Python, Go, Rust, or modern TypeScript/React.
- Hands-on experience with embedded Linux systems, including board bring-up and device trees.
- Experience building APIs and backend services that integrate with hardware-adjacent systems.
- Ability to debug across the full stack, including logs and hardware/software boundaries.
- Experience designing maintainable software architectures.
- Comfort collaborating with cross-functional teams and translating ambiguous requirements.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Currently possess and maintain an active U.S. Top Secret security clearance.
