Base Salary

$219k - $301k/yr

Responsibilities

Partner with the sales team to help customers understand Databricks solutions.
Provide technical leadership for customer evaluations and adoption of Databricks.
Consult on big data architecture and implement proof of concepts for strategic projects.
Build and present reference architectures and demo applications for customers.
Promote Databricks open-source projects across developer communities.
Travel to customer locations within your region.

8+ years in a customer-facing pre-sales, technical architecture, or consulting role.
Experience designing and architecting distributed data systems.
Proficient in programming and debugging in Python, Scala, Java, SQL, or R.
Experience supporting Public Sector clients.
Familiarity with public cloud providers such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
Knowledge of data engineering technologies like Spark, Hadoop, or Kafka.
Experience with data warehousing concepts.
Desired degree in a quantitative discipline such as Computer Science or Applied Mathematics.
Must be a US Citizen.
