Responsibilities
- Design, develop, troubleshoot, review, and debug secure, high-quality production software.
- Lead adoption and validation standards for approved AI-assisted coding, code review, testing, troubleshooting, and remediation workflows.
- Identify opportunities to automate recurring issues and improve application and system operational stability.
- Lead evaluation sessions with vendors, startups, and internal teams on architecture, technical credentials, and integration applicability.
- Coach engineers on responsible, secure, and compliant use of AI-assisted software development tools.
Requirements
- At least five years of applied software engineering experience and formal training or certification in software engineering concepts.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
- Hands-on experience with system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
- Advanced proficiency in one or more programming languages, including hands-on Java, Spring, and Spring Boot experience.
- Experience leading AI-assisted software development practices and validating AI outputs for correctness, performance, and security.
- Understanding of responsible AI use, data sensitivity, secure input/output handling, resiliency, and security expectations.
- Proficiency across the Software Development Life Cycle and advanced understanding of application resiliency and security.
- In-depth knowledge of financial services and related IT systems, plus practical cloud-native experience.
- Preferred experience with AWS services including ECS, S3, and Lambda, and Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.
