Responsibilities
- Collaborate with engineering teams to solve complex technical problems and deliver quality software solutions.
- Translate requirements into engineering solutions, break down work, and create clarity for team members.
- Experiment with AI-assisted engineering tools and cloud services and provide feedback from real-world testing.
- Build robust, reusable solutions that integrate with other teams’ workflows and products.
- Contribute to architectural discussions, propose improvements, and model engineering standards and best practices.
- Participate in code reviews, maintain high-quality codebases, and support documentation and knowledge sharing.
- Work on cross-functional projects, manage interdependencies, and coach and mentor junior team members.
Requirements
- At least 11 years of software development experience.
- Proficiency in one or more modern software development languages, including Python, Java, .NET, TypeScript, or Go.
- Experience designing and building APIs, services, and distributed systems.
- Experience with microservices, event-driven architectures, object-oriented programming, micro frontends, component-driven architecture, and API integration patterns.
- Proficiency with React.js, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3/SCSS.
- Experience with modern application design patterns, including Domain-Driven Design.
- Experience across backend, frontend, and integration capabilities.
- Experience using AI-powered engineering tools to improve development productivity and quality.
- Experience with AWS, Kubernetes, Docker, and infrastructure as code using Terraform and/or CloudFormation.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, observability and monitoring, DevSecOps practices, and Agile software delivery.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or Information Technology.
