Responsibilities
- Own and execute Salesforce deployments, releases, and hotfixes across environments.
- Manage CI/CD processes using GitHub, GitHub Actions, Salesforce CLI, SFDX, and Metadata API.
- Coordinate pull requests and release scope with developers, the client’s DevOps team, and technical stakeholders.
- Troubleshoot deployment issues and improve deployment automation, release processes, and CI/CD reliability.
- Support Salesforce application maintenance and AMS activities between releases.
- Serve as the technical point of contact for Salesforce deployment and release topics.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of hands-on Salesforce experience, preferably in enterprise environments.
- Strong practical experience with Salesforce DevOps, release management, and CI/CD.
- Ability to independently manage Salesforce deployments and releases.
- Strong knowledge of GitHub, GitHub Actions, Salesforce CLI, SFDX, and Metadata API.
- Understanding of Salesforce metadata, dependencies, and deployment troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of Sales Cloud and Service Cloud.
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment.
- Strong English communication and collaboration skills.
- Willingness to occasionally support evening or weekend releases.
- Salesforce certifications such as Salesforce Administrator, Platform Developer, Platform App Builder, or DevOps-related certifications are desired.
- Experience with Insurance Industry Cloud, Vlocity, automated deployment frameworks, CI/CD pipeline design, enterprise DevOps teams, AMS, hotfixes, emergency releases, distributed Salesforce teams, or insurance and financial services is desired.
