Base Salary
$240k - $300k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design systems for managing software across a large camera fleet.
- Implement observability infrastructure with dashboards and metrics systems.
- Own the end-to-end process for releasing camera software.
- Create data pipelines and analytical tools to measure release health.
- Define release procedures and ensure adherence to standards.
- Develop alerts and automated tests to catch problems early.
- Make decisions under pressure during critical incidents.
Requirements
- BS/MS in Computer Science or a similar degree.
- 5+ years of experience in distributed software engineering.
- Strong understanding of Linux internals.
- Proficiency in systems-oriented languages like C and Go.
- Experience with metrics systems and building data pipelines.
- Data-driven mindset with comfort in statistics.
- Ownership mentality to lead architecture and processes.
- Proven crisis management skills.
- Willingness to work onsite five days per week.
