Responsibilities
- Architect and lead the planning, design, and development of new software solutions.
- Design and implement reusable, scalable, secure, performant, and maintainable services.
- Partner with product owners and stakeholders to translate requirements into software solutions.
- Lead technical innovation, define coding standards, and establish software development best practices.
- Manage engineering tools, integrations, automation, and DevSecOps capabilities supporting global product development.
- Mentor software development team members and advise executives on current and future technology strategies.
- Design test automation frameworks, quality gates, database solutions, and engineering KPI measurement frameworks.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience, preferred.
- Typically 10+ years of hands-on object-oriented programming experience with Java or Python.
- Experience with the software development life cycle, engineering tools management, DevOps automation, and DevSecOps practices.
- Strong knowledge of CI/CD workflows, API programming, engineering services automation, REST, and GraphQL.
- Expertise with engineering tools including JFrog, SonarQube, Harness, Jira, Confluence, and Atlassian Marketplace solutions.
- Experience with source code management using GitHub and Bitbucket, including GitHub Actions, repository migrations, and toolchain consolidation.
- Advanced backend database development skills, including SQL programming, schema design, implementation, and optimization.
- Experience designing test automation frameworks using tools such as Playwright and BrowserStack, with knowledge of unit testing, code coverage, and quality gates.
- Ability to design scalable and secure software, define technical roadmaps, establish engineering metrics, solve complex problems, and work within Agile practices.
