Responsibilities
- Design the overall SDx / Octave solution and create architecture diagrams and solution designs.
- Lead solution design workshops with business, technical, integration, data migration, and infrastructure teams.
- Align business processes, data, integrations, security, and SDx capabilities.
- Guide teams in using standard SDx functionality, reviewing object models, metadata, workflows, relationships, and security while minimizing customization.
- Establish data quality and information governance standards.
- Support build, testing, deployment, hypercare, and production support activities.
- Review technical documents, resolve architecture issues, identify risks and dependencies, and guide architecture decisions.
- Present recommendations to leadership and mentor project teams.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience with technical information, asset management, PLM, EIM, or similar solutions.
- 5+ years of Solution Architect or Enterprise Architect experience.
- Experience delivering large transformation programs.
- Experience with SDx, Hexagon, Digital Twin, PLM, EIM, or similar platforms.
- Strong hands-on experience with Hexagon SDx / Octave SDx and its architecture, configuration, data model, objects, relationships, metadata, workflows, and security.
- Experience designing and implementing SDx solutions for technical information and document management.
- Experience maximizing out-of-the-box SDx capabilities and minimizing customization.
- Experience with SDx document lifecycles, technical work processes, and change control.
- SmartPlant Foundation experience is strongly preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
- English proficiency is required for regular interaction with stakeholders across Canada, the US, and other global locations.
