Base Salary
$73k - $131k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, document, test, and debug applications software and systems.
- Collaborate with equipment designers and hardware engineers on the planning, design, development, and use of electronic data processing systems.
- Determine computer user needs and analyze system capabilities to resolve problems involving program intent, inputs, outputs, programming techniques, and controls.
- Prepare operating instructions.
- Design and develop compilers, assemblers, utility programs, and operating systems.
- Ensure software standards are met.
Requirements
- For Associate Software Engineer (T01), be completing or have completed a bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
- For Software Engineer (T02), be completing or have completed a master’s degree from an accredited institution.
- Major or previous major must be Computer Science or Computer Engineering.
- Be able to obtain a U.S. government security clearance; U.S. citizenship is required.
- Preferred qualifications include a cumulative GPA of 3.70/4.0 or higher, previous internship, co-op, or other work experience, leadership and teamwork capabilities, interpersonal communication skills, and professional, community, or extracurricular activities.
