Base Salary
$87k - $157k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain software using Agile methodologies.
- Develop tactical software for Leidos Defense radar systems.
- Create modeling, simulation, and analysis tools for algorithm development, requirements development, system testing, and prototype radar development.
- Test, analyze, and debug complex software systems across multiple architectures and operating systems.
- Collaborate with teams supporting advanced RF and radar technologies.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field from an ABET-accredited institution with a 3.0 GPA or higher, plus 2–4 years of software development or engineering experience, or a master’s degree with less than 2 years of experience.
- Strong understanding of object-oriented design, data structures, and network communications.
- Strong verbal, written, and visual communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, fast-paced technical environment.
- Must be a U.S. citizen and possess or be able to obtain and maintain an active Secret clearance.
- Must reside in or be willing to relocate to the Huntsville, Alabama area.
- Preferred experience with C++, Python, Linux, Git, and MATLAB.
- Familiarity with radar systems is preferred.
