Base Salary
$70k - $126k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop software for counter-UAS and missile defense systems in a Linux environment.
- Develop software using Jira and GitLab within a SAFe environment.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to implement software functionality.
- Apply software best practices including peer reviews, unit testing, automated testing, and documentation generation.
- Debug and troubleshoot software in a hardware-in-the-loop (HWIL) environment.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or an equivalent degree from an ABET-accredited university with 2+ years of experience, or a master’s degree.
- Strong competency in at least C/C++ and Python.
- Experience across the software engineering lifecycle and with software best practices.
- Experience collaborating with systems engineering, electrical engineering, test, and other functional groups.
- Experience working in an Agile environment and using Jira and GitLab or equivalent tools.
- Experience developing with Qt IDE or equivalent and in a Linux environment.
- Familiarity with troubleshooting and testing software in an HWIL environment.
- Currently live in the Huntsville, Alabama area or be willing to relocate.
- Currently hold a Secret clearance.
- Preferred: experience with Buildroot, VMware, Wireshark, UDP/TCP network communications, CI/CD pipeline support, and DoD acquisition processes and methods.
