Base Salary
$73k - $131k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, document, test, debug, and maintain software applications implementing logical and mathematical solutions.
- Develop and maintain software products across multiple baselines for the IBCS program.
- Perform software development and upgrades in multiple programming languages while minimizing changes to tactical software behavior.
- Create and update documentation using Markdown and collaboration tools.
- Perform unit and functional testing, code coverage analysis, static code analysis, and test automation.
- Collaborate with systems and test engineers on secure, scalable command-and-control software.
- Participate in Scaled Agile Framework Scrum teams.
Requirements
- Associate Software Engineer candidates require a bachelor's degree in a STEM field and at least 1 year of relevant experience.
- Software Engineer candidates require a bachelor's degree in a STEM field and at least 2 years of relevant experience, or a master's degree in a STEM field and 0 years of relevant experience.
- Strong object-oriented software development experience with Java and C++.
- Proficiency in Linux-based development and runtime environments, with scripting experience in Bash and Python.
- Experience with Git and GitLab.
- Experience with Agile SAFe and Atlassian tools including Jira and Confluence.
- Ability to obtain and maintain an active DoD Secret clearance.
- Preferred qualifications include MBSE experience with Cameo or similar tools, DevSecOps and CI/CD experience, RTI/DDS middleware experience, relevant US Army and engagement or track-management systems experience, and CompTIA Security+.
Benefits
- Primary level base salary range is $72,700.00-$109,100.00 annually and secondary level base salary range is $87,600.00-$131,400.00 annually.

- Employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus.
- The role includes 10% travel and provides no relocation assistance.
- A Secret clearance is required to start, and U.S. citizenship is required for positions requiring government clearance.
