Base Salary
$169k - $270k/yr
Responsibilities
- Define the client architecture strategy for Real-Time Operations across market verticals and international regions.
- Shape platform configurability and extensibility so regional and vertical experiences use a shared foundation.
- Set and evolve frontend architecture, including module boundaries, shared libraries, build systems, delivery systems, and independent team shipping patterns.
- Steward authentication and session management, logging, metrics, localization, internationalization, accessibility, and UI cohesion.
- Drive reliability, performance, quality, observability, resilience, load times, and error rates for mission-critical real-time experiences.
- Establish reusable workflows, review protocols, and quality gates for safe AI-assisted engineering.
- Review architecture and designs across Real-Time Operations and partner teams.
- Mentor and grow senior engineers and develop future technical leaders.
- Partner with product, design, and engineering leaders on long-term technical strategy and architecture.
Requirements
- 10+ years of professional software engineering experience with Staff- or Principal-level technical leadership.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience designing and building systems that scale to millions of users across the full stack.
- Deep frontend expertise with TypeScript and Angular and/or React.
- Experience defining frontend architecture at scale, including modular package ecosystems or module federation, shared component libraries, and build and delivery systems.
- Experience building configurable or extensible platforms for multiple customer segments, verticals, or regions on a common foundation.
- Experience improving production reliability and performance through observability, load-time and error-rate reduction, and resilience.
- Demonstrated daily use of AI-assisted engineering tools with the judgment to validate outputs for quality, security, and performance.
- Strong structured communication and ability to influence engineering and product leaders across teams.
- Customer-focused approach and ability to balance business and engineering priorities across diverse markets.
- High standards of excellence and curiosity about developing other engineers.
