Base Salary
$213k - $259k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and develop robust AI architectures, frameworks, algorithms, and enterprise SaaS AI solutions.
- Collaborate across research and production teams to guide the direction of machine learning at Qualtrics.
- Develop and deploy ML systems in production and optimize models and systems for performance, scalability, efficiency, and cost.
- Provide technical supervision and direction to ML platform teams and lead the creation of services for deploying and monitoring AI models.
- Evaluate AI technologies, tools, and frameworks for performance, accuracy, and scalability.
- Lead and document AI architectures, design decisions, and technical specifications.
- Conduct code reviews, mentor team members, and provide technical guidance.
- Stay current on AI technologies and identify opportunities for their application.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, artificial intelligence, or a related field.
- 7+ years of experience as a machine learning engineer or in a related role.
- Proficiency in Python, Java, or C++ and AI libraries and frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, and Keras.
- Knowledge of cloud computing platforms such as AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud, with experience deploying AI models on them.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Knowledge of deploying and optimizing LLMs with DeepSpeed, Accelerate, FasterTransformer, and Transformers-NeuronX is preferred.
- Knowledge of ethical considerations and responsible AI practices is preferred.
