Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end development of AI/ML models and applications from ideation and data exploration through rapid prototyping and initial deployment.
- Collaborate with business and engineering teams to identify high-impact AI use cases and translate requirements into technical specifications and solution architectures.
- Architect, implement, and deliver scalable, robust, and maintainable AI solutions integrated with existing systems and workflows.
- Develop AI applications using LLMs, prompt engineering, fine-tuning, Retrieval Augmented Generation, and agentic frameworks.
- Transfer knowledge through documentation, training, mentorship, and pair-programming so receiving teams can assume ownership.
- Evaluate advancements, tools, techniques, and best practices in AI and machine learning and recommend innovations.
- Lead or significantly contribute to cross-functional projects.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related quantitative field.
- At least 5 years of hands-on AI/ML development experience delivering end-to-end AI solutions professionally.
- Experience building and deploying end-to-end AI applications using LLMs and related frameworks, including prompt engineering, fine-tuning, Retrieval Augmented Generation, and agentic frameworks.
- Strong proficiency in Python and relevant AI/ML frameworks such as TensorFlow and PyTorch.
- Experience translating complex business requirements and customer needs into technical architectures and specifications and implementing the resulting systems.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP and with MLOps practices for model deployment and management.
- Strong communication, collaboration, mentoring, and cross-functional project skills.
