Responsibilities
- Automate software build and deployment processes.
- Configure high-availability hosting environments in Amazon Web Services and other cloud platforms.
- Support Drupal and Java software development teams.
- Maintain internal software, hardware, and networking systems.
- Contribute to security compliance efforts.
- Provide some off-hours support.
Requirements
- Strong Linux administration skills.
- Solid understanding of TCP/IP networking, DNS, and HTTP/HTTPS.
- Thorough understanding of security best practices.
- Experience with high-availability hosting configurations.
- Experience with relational databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, and Oracle.
- Thorough understanding of Git and other version control systems.
- Ability to quickly learn new technologies and programming languages.
- Preferred experience with Jenkins, CircleCI, or other build automation and continuous integration systems.
- Preferred experience with AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure high-availability hosting configurations.
- Preferred experience with Active Directory, LDAP, and SSO solutions.
- Preferred experience with Docker, Java application servers, automation, and configuration management tools.
- Security training or certifications such as CCSP or SSCP are preferred.
