Responsibilities
- Analyze software requirements and apply design patterns.
- Design and implement robust, reliable, well-structured firmware software in C/C++ for Linux.
- Integrate communications protocols including Ethernet, TCP/IP, Modbus, BACnet, and SNMP.
- Review code for readability and robust, reliable system operation.
- Own projects and coordinate with functional contacts at different locations.
- Apply analytical problem-solving and communicate effectively in written and spoken English.
Requirements
- BE degree in Computer Science or Electronics Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- 10+ years of software development experience in a Linux environment.
- Experience with C/C++ software implementation, software requirements analysis, and design patterns.
- Experience with communications protocols such as Ethernet and TCP/IP; Modbus, BACnet, and SNMP experience is preferred.
- Ability to develop readable, robust, reliable, and well-structured code.
- Ability to review code for readability and robust, reliable system operation.
- Strong analytical, interpersonal, and written and spoken English communication skills.
- Yocto experience is a plus.
- Web/CGI application background is a plus.
