Responsibilities
- Design and develop a highly available, scalable, and secure ClickHouse Cloud platform for regulated environments.
- Build innovative deployment automation across cloud, hybrid, and on-prem systems.
- Work closely with Dataplane and Core teams to ensure software parity with existing infrastructure.
- Solve scaling, reliability, and performance challenges in regulated environments.
- Design and deploy ClickHouse Cloud on Kubernetes and containerized environments.
- Develop and maintain Helm charts, operators, and Kubernetes manifests.
- Implement automation to build, scale, and troubleshoot infrastructure components.
- Optimize ClickHouse Cloud database performance and storage architecture.
- Integrate secure authentication, encryption, and access control mechanisms.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation for system architecture and compliance.
- Troubleshoot and resolve database performance, security, and operational issues.
- Automate deployments and lifecycle management using Terraform, Ansible, or CI/CD pipelines.
Requirements
- Permanent Resident and/or U.S. Citizenship required.
- 6+ years of relevant software development experience.
- Experience with ClickHouse or relational and NoSQL databases.
- Proficiency with Kubernetes tools and containerized deployments.
- Experience with secure, regulated, or restricted network environments is a plus.
- Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Proficiency in programming/scripting languages like Go or Python.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work within a team.
- Strong problem-solving skills and production debugging capabilities.
- Passion for efficiency, availability, scalability, and data governance.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with a high level of responsibility.
