Base Salary

$153k - $222k/yr

Responsibilities

Scale infrastructure across cloud, hybrid, and on-premises deployment types and regions.
Work across the end-to-end data lifecycle, from external-facing products to underlying platforms and infrastructure.
Build features that tune processing pipelines for fast data ingestion and indexing based on customer needs and workloads.
Enable performant query interfaces and easy-to-use integration hooks for product workflows.
Develop and deploy high-quality software using modern tooling, frameworks, and open-source technologies.
Take ownership of technical and product decisions and collaborate with internal and external users to gather feedback.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience.
At least 3 years of professional experience.
Experience with large-scale open-source data technologies such as Spark, Kafka, Hudi, and Flyte.
Experience with containerization and modern software development workflows.
Knowledge of the open-source landscape and judgment about when to use open source versus build in-house.
Preferred: expertise with Python, C++, Go, or Scala.
Preferred: experience with additional open-source data technologies.
Preferred: expertise with Kubernetes.
Preferred: experience with enterprise software and on-premises or cloud environments.
Preferred: deep knowledge of data quality, data profiling, and data cleansing techniques.
