Base Salary
$153k - $222k/yr
Responsibilities
- Scale infrastructure across cloud, hybrid, and on-premise deployments and regions.
- Work across the end-to-end data lifecycle, from external-facing products to underlying platforms and infrastructure.
- Build and tune processing pipelines for fast data ingestion and indexing based on customer needs and workloads.
- Enable performant query interfaces and easy-to-use integration hooks for product workflows.
- Develop and deploy high-quality software using modern tooling, frameworks, and open-source technologies.
- Take ownership of technical and product decisions and collaborate with internal and external users to gather feedback.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- At least 3 years of professional experience.
- Experience with large-scale open-source data technologies such as Spark, Kafka, Hudi, and Flyte.
- Experience with containerization and modern software development workflows.
- Knowledge of the open-source landscape and judgment about when to use open source versus building in-house.
- Preferred expertise with Python, C++, GoLang, or Scala.
- Preferred experience with additional open-source data technologies and Kubernetes.
- Preferred experience with enterprise software in on-premise and/or cloud environments.
- Preferred deep knowledge of data quality, data profiling, and data cleansing techniques.
