Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain MES applications using C#, .NET Framework/Core, and Web APIs.
- Create and optimize SQL Server queries, stored procedures, and database schemas.
- Implement responsive front-end components with JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
- Integrate external systems such as SAP, PLCs, and SCADA into MES architectures.
- Gather requirements, contribute to system design, participate in code reviews, and maintain technical documentation.
- Troubleshoot application issues in manufacturing environments and optimize security and system performance.
- Collaborate with process engineers and production teams to understand MES requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of hands-on experience with C#, .NET, Web API development, and MES.
- Proficiency in Microsoft SQL Server, including T-SQL, stored procedures, and performance tuning.
- Strong JavaScript and front-end development experience.
- Experience or exposure to MES systems such as AVEVA/Wonderware, Rockwell FT, or Siemens Opcenter; AVEVA MES technical-stack experience is a plus.
- Understanding of manufacturing processes, production workflows, and shop-floor integration.
- Familiarity with OPC, PLC communication, and industrial data protocols is a plus.
- Knowledge of ISA-95, 21 CFR Part 11, or GMP compliance is preferred.
- Experience with reporting tools, dashboards, or historian systems is preferred.
- Strong problem-solving, attention to detail, communication, and teamwork skills.
