Responsibilities
- Design and build software applications and product capabilities for guest-focused digital aviation experiences.
- Translate functional and technical requirements into robust software, analytics, reporting, and database solutions.
- Develop, review, test, debug, troubleshoot, tune, and improve application code and SQL queries.
- Administer development tools and support Azure, CI/CD, application deployment, performance testing, and production operations.
- Coordinate resolution of application defects, critical incidents, vendor issues, and production problems.
- Define standards, document processes and requirements, and support software architecture and technology decisions.
- Collaborate with product owners, QA, analysts, business teams, clients, vendors, and globally distributed development teams.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance, training, and knowledge transfer.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or ten or more years of equivalent work experience.
- Eight or more years of related experience, or ten or more years of equivalent work experience.
- In-depth knowledge of C# and Microsoft Azure development, services, and core concepts.
- Strong understanding of software architecture, design patterns, data structures, database technologies, and Microsoft SQL Server.
- Experience with React, XML, SQL, JavaScript, jQuery, web services, CSS, SharePoint, and Adobe Experience Manager.
- Experience with GitHub, Postman, Jira, database query tools, Dynamics 365, and Microsoft Power Platform.
- Experience with DevOps environments, deployment, and administration of CI/CD tools.
- Experience with Azure Event Hubs, App Services, Event Grid, Azure SQL, Service Bus, and Microsoft Visual Studio.
- Proficiency with MVVM, MVC, publish-subscribe, dependency injection, factory, unit-of-work, prototype, mediator, façade, and observer patterns.
- Proficiency with SDLC source-control and work-item-management tools and with writing, troubleshooting, and tuning SQL queries.
- Knowledge of data privacy practices and laws and Enterprise Architecture theory and best practices.
- Adobe Experience Manager or Microsoft Azure certifications are preferred.
