Base Salary
$180k - $241k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own the analysis, architecture, design, programming, debugging, testing, and modification of software applications, services, and systems.
- Lead implementation of complex features and major, highly scalable software initiatives supporting Lodging Sales Distribution.
- Drive architecture decisions, evaluate tradeoffs, and maintain architectural consistency across multiple systems and engineering teams.
- Lead root-cause analysis, remediation planning, and resiliency improvements as the primary subject matter expert during Sev1 and Sev2 incidents.
- Interact autonomously with users and stakeholders across diverse teams to define system requirements and necessary modifications.
- Support project estimation, planning, and budget allocation for sophisticated capital initiatives.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and AI-enabled delivery capabilities and make informed recommendations.
- Mentor lead and senior engineers while promoting collaboration, innovation, diversity, and inclusion.
Requirements
- At least 10 years of related work experience.
- Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a comparable field, or equivalent work experience.
- Deep expertise in Java, Spring Boot microservices, RESTful API design, and service-oriented architecture.
- Strong experience with Angular, Node.js, AWS, Docker, cloud-hosted platforms, and containerized platforms.
- Proficiency with deployment configuration management, content delivery technologies, observability platforms, authentication, and authorization frameworks.
- Deep commerce and e-commerce domain knowledge, preferably supporting large-scale guest-facing applications.
- Advanced experience using AI-assisted software development tools such as Amazon Kiro, Cursor, GitHub Copilot, and Claude.
- Proven ability to lead complex technical initiatives, drive architecture decisions, mentor senior technical contributors, and serve as a subject matter expert during critical incidents.
- Excellent communication, leadership, collaboration, and team-development abilities.
Benefits
- Full-time position based in Orlando, Florida.
- Hiring range is $179,500–$240,600 per year, with potential bonus and/or long-term incentive units in addition to medical, financial, and other benefits.
